  Louis Cruise Lines one of the biggest cruise companies world-wide boards more passengers in Limassol than any other cruise line in the Mediterranean. Part of the Louis Organization, the successful cruise division which commands more than 60% market share of cruises from Cyprus to Eastern Mediterranean, Greece and the Greek Islands. It has also chartered 3 of its cruise ships which now cruise In the Caribbean and Western Mediterranean. Louis Cruise Lines was listed on the Cyprus Stock Exchange in August 99. Louis Cruise Lines also enjoys a 22% capacity share for the whole of the Mediterranean. Currently 8 vessels comprise the Louis fleet, 7 of them are owned by the new public company whereas the Princesa Amorosa will remain in the ownership of the Louis Tourist Agency and will be operated by Louis Cruise Lines.

The Louis Group was founded back in 1938 by the late Louis Loizou and since then has been committed to fulfilling the needs and wishes of its customers ensuring the best quality for the best price. In the early 80's when it ventured into the cruise market it developed Cyprus into a popular cruise gateway to Egypt, the Holy Land and the Greek Islands. All of it's ships have recently been refurbished, upgraded to outstanding levels of quality and service and equipped with all modern facilities including restaurants, bars, discos, duty free shops, casinos and swimming pools.

Thomson Destiny: Cyprus registered, built 1970, 37.773 gross tons, 1.595 passengers, 540 crew members. Itineraries: Europe.

Aquamarine: Cyprus registered, built 1970, 23.149 gross tons, 1.202 passengers, 442 crew members. Itineraries: Mediterranean from France and Italy.

Thomson Spirit: Cyprus registered, built 1970, 33.930 gross tons, 1.400 passengers, 540 crew members. Itineraries: Europe.

Princesa Marissa: Cyprus registered, built 1966, refurbished 1995, 10.477 gross tons, 853 passengers, 185 crew members. Itineraries: Mediterranean from Cyprus.

Ausonia: Chartered to Firs Choice Holidays-UK. Cyprus registered, built 1957, refurbished 1996, 12.609 gross tons, 701 passengers,  290 crew members. Itineraries: Mediterranean from Cyprus.

Serenade: Cyprus registered, built 1957, refurbished 1985, 13.691 gross tons, 662 passengers,  320 crew members. Itineraries: Mediterranean from Cyprus.
